Kaplan leads and coordinates the management team at Personal Training Institute, a Jericho-based provider of one-to-one fitness training and nutrition counseling that, via a partnership with Franchise Brands, is looking to expand through new store growth. Kaplan was formerly president and chief operating officer of Kapson Senior Quarters Corp., a $1.2 billion assisted living services company that he developed, took public and later sold to Lazard Freres Real Estate Investors.
